Reproduction of a drawing from the appendix to the document "Instructions and articles of military regulations for the Russian Navy" 1710 "Instructions and articles of war proper to the Russian Navy" were printed by order of Peter the Great in Moscow in April 1710.

It was the first printed charter document in the Russian Navy. 64 articles defined combat and daily service on ships of the Russian fleet. This document was the forerunner of the first Maritime Charter, issued in 1720.
