The Photographs Fund

The photographs collection fund has about 300,000 objects. There are photos, negatives, photo albums and photo cards from the mid 19th century to the present day. There are unique photo albums imperial yacht interiors. The fund kept a significant number of negatives depicting the events of the Russian-Japanese war of 1904-1905. Great value is placed on the single daguerreotype. Of great interest are photo albums, dedicated to shipyards. The collection fund includes photo cards showing almost all ships and vessels of the Russian Imperial Navy. The collection stores many color slides with images of museum objects.
