In 2015 there is the 300th anniversary of the founding by Peter I of the Admiralty Naval Hospital, now the First Order of Lenin Naval Hospital, and the 75th anniversary of the Naval Medical Academy.
These therapeutic and educational medical establishments in the course of all their history have made a great contribution to the development and improvement of Russian and world medical science. The history of military medicine includes the names of the famous military doctors and clinicians: N.I. Pirogov, Yu.Yu. Dzhanelidze, V.K. Lubo, S.P. Botkin, A.L. Myasnikov, N.I. Leporsky, L.O. Orbeli; naval doctors V.I. Isayev, L.M. Starokadomsky, A.P. Sobolevsky and many others.
The exhibition "The feat of mercy ..." will operate from 24 July 2015 to 17 January 2016.
