12 August 2015 marks the 15th anniversary of the tragic loss of the crew of the nuclear submarine "Kursk". The exhibition "To the memory of Nuclear Submarine Kursk" deployed in Submarine D-2 Narodovolets, a branch of the Central Naval Museum, is dedicated to this sad date.
The visitors to the exhibition will learn little known episodes of the feat of the crew of Nuclear Submarine Kursk, will get acquainted with the history of salvaging the underwater cruiser from the bottom of the Barents Sea.
The exposition also includes models of other nuclear submarines designed by the Central Marine Equipment Design Bureau "Rubin" and St. Petersburg Marine Engineering Bureau "Malakhit".
The exhibition will operate until the end of January 2016.
