Restoration workshop

The ship model restoration workshop is the only one in Russia that operates in a museum.

The restoration workshop appeared in the Museum in the middle of the 19th century.

Models of ships, fabrics, and paintings are being restored in the museum workshop. Then the ship models are stored in the museum's collections or placed on display.

At least fifty museum items pass through the hands of its specialists every year.
